Register for *901# Banking Made Easy

If it’s your first time transacting with Banking made easy, then, first of all, you need to register.

To do that

  • Dial *901# using a line linked to your bank account
  • Select the option that says register.
  • Enter the last four digits of your ATM card (Mastercard or Verve).
  • Create a 5-digit PIN for Banking Made Easy

After that, you can continue with the next step below:

How to send money using Access Bank transfer code:

Step 1. Dial *901*1*Amount*Acc No# for transfers to Acess Bank or *901*2*Amount*Acc No# for transfers to other banks.

Step 2. Confirm the full name of the recipient.

Step 3. Enter your account PIN to approve the transfer.

For instance, if I want to transfer 5000 naira to a friend who uses Access Bank account number: 0123456789, then I’ll dial *901*1*500*0123456789#.

Otherwise, if my friend uses GTB or any other non-Access Bank account number, then I’ll have to dial *901*2*5000*0123456789#.

Access Bank transfer limits, charges, and other points to note:

Your transfer will attract a fee of 80 nairas plus a 4 naira VAT, making 84 nairas.

Note: The daily limit while using the Access Bank Transfer code is 20,000 naira. If you wish to send higher, you might have to visit a branch near you to get a token.

Banking made easy is accessible any time, any day; however, the 20K bar isn’t so encouraging. Nevertheless, it still makes quick transfers very easy.
