How many state governors does APC have?

APC currently controls 20 states in Nigeria.

List of the states governed by APC

  1. Benue State: Benue State is governed by Hyacinth Alia, with Samuel Ode serving as the deputy governor. Their term began in 2023 and will end in 2027.
  2. Borno State: Borno is led by Governor Babagana Zulum, who is joined by Umar Usman Kadafur as the deputy governor. They assumed office in 2019 and will serve until 2027.
  3. Cross River State: The governor of Cross River State is Bassey Otu, and the deputy governor is Peter Odey. They assumed office in 2023 and will serve until 2027.
  4. Ebonyi State: Ebonyi is governed by Francis Nwifuru, with Patricia Obila as the deputy governor. Their term began in 2023 and will end in 2027.
  5. Ekiti State: Governor Biodun Oyebanji leads Ekiti State, while Monisade Afuye serves as the deputy governor. They assumed office in 2022 and will serve until 2026.
  6. Gombe State: The governor is Muhammad Inuwa Yahaya, with Manasseh Daniel Jatau as the deputy governor. They assumed office in 2023 and will serve until 2027.
  7. Imo State: Governor Hope Uzodinma heads Imo State, and Placid Njoku is the deputy governor. They assumed office in 2020, and their term will conclude in 2024.
  8. Jigawa State: Jigawa State’s governor is Umar Namadi, and Aminu Usman serves as the deputy governor. Their term began in 2023 and will end in 2027.
  9. Kaduna State: Governor Uba Sani leads Kaduna State, with Hadiza Balarabe as the deputy governor. They assumed office in 2023 and will serve until 2027.
  10. Katsina State: Katsina State’s governor is Dikko Umaru Radda, with Faruk Lawal Jobe as the deputy governor. They assumed office in 2023 and will serve until 2027.
  11. Kebbi State: Kebbi is led by Governor Nasir Idris, with Abubakar Umar Argungu as the deputy governor. Their term began in 2023 and will end in 2027.
  12. Kogi State: Governor Yahaya Bello heads Kogi State, with Edward Onoja serving as the deputy governor. They assumed office in 2016, and their term will conclude in 2024.
  13. Kwara State. Kwara is governed by AbdulRahman AbdulRasaq, with Kayode Alabi as the deputy governor. They assumed office in 2019 and will serve until 2027.
  14. Lagos State: Lagos is led by Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, while Femi Hamzat serves as the deputy governor. They assumed office in 2019 and will serve until 2027.
  15. Nasarawa State: The governor is Abdullahi Sule, with Emmanuel Akabe as the deputy governor. Their term began in 2019 and will end in 2027.
  16. Niger State: is governed by Mohammed Umar Bago, with Yakubu Garba as the deputy governor. They assumed office in 2023 and will serve until 2027.
  17. Ogun State: is led by Governor Dapo Abiodun, while Noimot Salako-Oyedele serves as the deputy governor. They assumed office in 2019 and will serve until 2027.
  18. Ondo State: The governor is Rotimi Akeredolu, and Lucky Aiyedatiwa is the deputy governor. They assumed office in 2017, and their term will conclude in 2025.
  19. Sokoto State: Sokoto State is governed by Ahmad Aliyu, with Idris Muhammad Gobir serving as his deputy. They resumed office in 2023 and will be due for reelection in 2027.
