UK Prime Minister, Boris Johnson, and his fiancee, Carrie Symonds welcomed their son together on Wednesday, 29th April 2020.
The fiancee of the PM, took to her official Instagram account on Saturday to announce that they have named their newborn son Wilfred Lawrie Nicholas Johnson.
The couple displayed their heartfelt appreciation to the doctors that took care of Johnson while he was sick by naming their son after them.
“Wilfred after Boris’ grandfather, Lawrie after my grandfather, Nicholas after Dr Nick Price and Dr Nick Hart – the two doctors that saved Boris’ life last month,” Carrie Symonds said wrote.
“Thank you so, so much to the incredible NHS maternity team at UCLH that looked after us so well. I couldn’t be happier. My heart is full,” she added.
She also took to Twitter to pen down her appreciation message. See her tweet below:
The Prime Minister has resumed on Monday, after recovering from the deadly virus.
Boris Johnson was the first world leader to fall ill with the deadly virus in March.
