Boko Haram has attacked Korongilum, a community in Chibok local government area of Borno state.

According to Thecable, during the attack, the dreaded terrorist group set many houses on fire and shot haphazardly into the air.

The attack was launched around 6 pm and according to an eye witness, people were just coming back from their farms when the insurgents came.

This attack in Chibok is coming just a few hours after the Northern Shari’a Council dared the leader of the Sect to be bold and come out of his hiding.

“The Insurgents came in through Forfor, and our people are running for safety as we speak”, said the eye witness.
