Kano state government has rested the Lockdown order in Kano state.

the lockdown has been relaxed from 6 am Thursday 23rd to 12 midnight Friday 24th.

This, according to the governor is to allow people to prepare well for the approaching Ramadan fast.

Dr Nasir Yusuf Gawuna, speaking on behalf of the Kano State Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, said the relaxation of the lockdown became essential so as to allow people to stock up their houses with foodstuff for the Ramadan.

Dr Gawuna gave the briefing on the lockdown and the coming Ramadan fast at the Government House on Wednesday, 22nd, 2020.

Recall that we reported earlier that Nigerians have been reacting to an unusual increase in the number of mysterious deaths in Kano state.

In the early hours of today, reports have it that they have buried over 190 people in less than one week.
