BREAKING: IGP bows to #EndSARS pressure, Disbands SARS Nationwide with immediate effect

The Inspector-General of the Nigerian Police, IGP Adamu Mohammed, has announced the immediate disbandment of the special anti-robbery squad (SARS) following nationwide protests over its brutality.

He made the announcement via a live broadcast on Sunday afternoon in Abuja.
