Police Arrest Funke Akindele for hosting a full house birthday party

Reports reaching us has it that the Lagos State Police command has arrested popular Nigerian actress, Funke Akindele, for contravening the social distancing order in the state.

Recall that the clips of the video of the full house party she and her husband JJC Skillz hosted emerged online.

Thereafter, several Nigerians criticized her for flouting the lockdown rule despite being one of the ambassadors of the NCDC.

 “Yes, we have Funke Akindele and we are looking for the others. She has been taken to SCID,” The Punch quoted the Lagos State Public Relations Officer, Bala Elkana, as saying.

Prior to her arrest, the actress issued an apology for her conduct, claiming the people in the video are members of his household where were stuck after the lockdown was imposed.
