The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced 10 new cases of the novel coronavirus, taking the nationwide tally to 224.
From the ten new cases, there are 6 in Lagos, 2 in Edo State, and 2 in the FCT.
Meanwhile, the death toll in Nigeria has now risen to 5 as the nation recorded another death today.
This is coming just one week into the lockdown imposed by President Muhammadu Buhari on Abuja, Lagos and Ogun State just 1 week ago.
Without doubt, Nigerians will be hoping to see a decline in the number of cases in hopes the shutdown will not be extended.
