After passing your JAMB and Post UTME, the next thing would be to keep track of your admission status online. Right here we’ll show you how to do just that.

How to Check BUK Admission list:

On BUK official website:

  • To check your admission status on bUK official website, visit mybuk.buk.edu.ng/myBUKAdmission/ on your phone or desktop browser.
  • Enter your Jamb registration, select your state and gender.

Printing out BUK admission list on the official portal

If you have been offered admission by BUK, you will receive a notification telling you to print out your “unofficial admission letter”.

Note: The unofficial admission letter is Free Of Charge. You don’t have to pay any money to print it.

  • To check your BUK admission status on JAMB CAPS, visit http://caps.jamb.gov.ng/ using your phone or desktop browser.
  • Enter your JAMB username and password and click on login.
  • Locate and click on ‘Check UTME / DE Admission Status’ tab.

What next after BUK offers you admission?

All successful applicants must upload their O’level results on the JAMB Central Admission Processing System (CAPS) portal and accept the offer of admission.

If you fail to do this within the stipulated time, BUK will automatically cancel your admission.

After accepting your admission on JAMB portal, print out the admission letter presented on JAMB portal. Also, you must print out the “unofficial admission letter” on BUK students’ portal.

On your unofficial admission letter, a date for the screening will be stipulated. Make sure to carry both JAMB and unofficial admission letter with you to the screening venue

I can’t find my name in the list, what should I do?

Usually, BUK releases admission list in batches. In other words, there’s 1st, 2nd, VC list, and sometimes other supplementary list.

We can’t give you specific dates when all the list would be out. However, we can assure you that the official website announces it on the homepage when a new admission list is out.

If the BUK has only released the first list and your name isn’t in it, we advise you wait patiently until every list is released.
