Nigerian actor Chiwetalu Agu has reacted to reports circulating on Facebook claiming he is sick and in need in of prayers.

The actor took to his Instagram to condemn the “foolish post” circulating on Facebook and urged his fans to disregard it. He insisted that he will never ask anybody for a dime and that he doesn’t have a Facebook account.

The fake post shared by a certain Mohammed Isah reads: “Our Nigeria movie actor is really sick. Please pray for him to recover speedily!”

Meanwhile, it doesn’t look like the person was trying to solicit for money. Notwithstanding, the actor has decided to correct the false pretext.

“Please disregard any foolish post on Facebook by anybody saying am SICK and SOLICITING for MONEY,” Chiwetalu Agu said.

“I’m in a perfectly good health condition, I will never ask anybody for A DIME neither am I on FACEBOOK,” He added.
