Church declares 1 month Prayer against ‘brand new virus’ Marlian Spirit

A Lagos-based church has organized a one-month deliverance programme during which it plans to rid its members of the infectious Marlian spirit.

In the banner making rounds on the internet, the Church called the Marlian spirit a ‘brand new virus’ that must be dealt with.

There are so many parts of the banner that went on to explain what the programme is all about and how they plan to execute the mission.

“It’s sweeping through the land. It’s creeping into our colleges and homes. It’s turning daughters against mothers and sons against fathers. Millions are hooked to this poison,” the banner reads.

“Are you a Marlian,” it asked?

In the base of the viral banner, a message was added that says, “Run so that you may leave.”

In a world where the spread of coronavirus is considered a major threat, it appears the church in question feels more concerned about a more “deadly Marlian Spirit”.
