Complete list of winners at the 2020 BET Awards

The 2020 BET awards ceremony is the 20th anniversary of BET. Nigerian singer, Burna boy was among the winners of the awards.

The BET Awards which became 20 years in 2020 is an award which honours Black excellence in entertainment and sports.

This years ceremony held on Sunday, 28th of June was its first-ever virtual ceremony.

It was held virtually due to the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic.

The event, hosted by former Real co-host Amanda Seales. It was aired concurrently via ViacomCBS networks and, for the first time ever, on CBS in its national broadcast.

It was a three-hour show broadcast. popular rapper, Lil Wayne, performed a powerful tribute in honour of late NBA legend Kobe Bryant and his daughter Gigi, who both died in a helicopter crash earlier this year.

Beyoncé accepted the BET Humanitarian Award from former First Lady Michelle Obama and also won the BET HER AWARD for her song “Brown Skin Girl.”

Megan Thee Stallion beat Nicki Minaj and Cardi B to win the Best Female Hip-Hop Artist.
