Popular musician, Rihanna, has donated Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to New York to aid in the battle against coronavirus.
The singer had earlier donated $5 million via her Clara Lionel foundation to several organizations the her home of the Caribbean, the US, and Africa.
Her recent donation was confirmed in a tweet by the New York Governor, Andrew Cuomo.
Andrew appreciated her and many others who have stepped up to help in the fight against the virus.
He tweeted:
“I want to thank @rihanna and the Rihanna Foundation for donating Personal Protective Equipment to New York State.
“We’re so appreciative of your help and that of so many others who have stepped up, ” he added.
