The University of Ilorin is situated in the southwestern geopolitical zone of Nigeria; in the capital city of Kwara state precisely.

Requirements for Unilorin Admission
In order to be considered for admission to study at the University of Ilorin (Unilorin), you must meet up with a few departmental requirements in addition to several other general requirements.
To gain admission to the University of Ilorin through UTME, you must have scored at least five (5) credit passes in Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSSCE) in not more than two sittings.
You can find a full list of all the admission requirements for Unilorin courses on the JAMB brochure or the official website.
Furthermore, your JAMB UTME aggregate score must not be less than 180. Take note, however, that some departments may require something higher.
- Those 5 credit passes in SSCE should include English Language and Mathematics.
- You must meet all the specific departmental requirements, including the SSCE subject combination and minimum UTME aggregate score. You can find that on your JAMB brochure.
- Finally, it is compulsory to register and take part in the Unilorin annual Post UTME screening exercise.
Direct Entry (DE) requirements
- To gain admission into the University of Ilorin through Direct Entry, candidates must possess at least five (5) credit passes in SSCE in not more than two sittings.
- In addition that, candidates must possess at least two advanced level passes in OND with credit level; or NCE, also with credit level.
