Franklin Amudo, who used to be the manager of Nigerian singer, DBanj, has released an official statement addressing the rape allegation levelled against the singer by Seyitan Babatayo.

Based on the statement, Franklin knew about the alleged rape. He revealed that Seyitan told him about it but then she opted not to press charges or even say it to the public.

Franklin said he invited Seyitan to an event in Lagos where D’Banj performed on December 30, 2018.

After the event ended, Seyitan told him she couldn’t return home that night because it was too late.

Franklin said he then gave her the keys to his room to pass the night at Glee hotel.

It was in that room Seyitan claimed D’Banj entered by 3 am and forced himself on her.

Meanwhile, Glee Hotel released a statement denying that something like that ever happened in their facility.
