English Premier League 2020/20021 season starts September 12th

The 2020-2021 English Premiership League will start on the 12th of September. The season is slated to end on the 23rd of May, 2021.

“Premier League Shareholders today agreed to start the 2020/21 PL season on 12 September.

“The final match round of the campaign will take place on 23 May The Premier League will continue to consult with @FA and @EFL regarding the scheduling of all domestic competitions,” it said in a statement.

Apparently, the new season is less than two months away even though the current season has one matches left to be played.

The current season was prolonged due to the deadly novel coronavirus currently ravaging the world.
