Nigerian singer, Folarin Falana, AKA Falz the Bahd Guy, has written a letter to the Nigerian Immigration Service for ‘punishing’ the officers who partook in the “Bop Daddy” challenge.
The “Bop Daddy” challenge became popular on all social platforms during the lockdown. Many people created their versions, and so did 5 female immigration officers.
Theirs went viral and, consequently, attracted criticism from the Nigerian Immigration Office.
Days later, a letter emerged which revealed that all of the five officers were posted to different parts of the country as punishment for taking parts in the challenge.
Alarmingly, two of them were posted to Borno and Yobe, which didn’t go down well with several people, bearing in mind the security issues in those states.
To that effect, several Nigerians criticized the decision and “Bop Daddy” himself has now written to the Nigerian Navy to Comptroller-General of the NIS to reconsider that decision.
