There are two ways to check the Federal University of Agriculture, Makurdi admission list; you can either use the official website of the institution or the JAMB CAPS.
Located in Makurdi, the capital city of Benue State, FUAM is one of just 4 universities of Agriculture in Nigeria. Needless to say, the institution is the first choice for thousands of applicants every year during UTME and Direct Entry registrations.

Checking your Admission Status for the Federal University of Agriculture, Makurdi on the School website
To check if you have been offered provisional admission at FUAB, follow the steps below:
- Visit the official admission checking portal of the institution.
The official website of the institution is uam.edu.ng while the portal to check your admission status is entry.uam.edu.ng/checkadmission
- Enter your JAMB registration number.
You can find your JAMB registration on your UTME/DE registration slip.
- Click on the ‘Check Status’ button.
Wait till the network displays a notification telling you whether or not you’ve gotten admission into FUNAAB.
How to check your FUNAAB admission status on JAMB CAPS
To check if you have been offered provisional admission by the Federal University of Agriculture, Makurdi on CAPS:
Step 1. visit http://caps.jamb.gov.ng/ using a computer or smartphone device.
Step 2. Enter your JAMB username and password and after that click on login.
Step 3. Click on ‘Check UTME/DE Admission Status’.
Step 4. Select your exam year and enter your JAMB registration number.
Step 5. Click on ‘Check Admission Status’.
Thereafter, you’ll see a notification telling you whether or not you have gained admission into FUAM.
What to do after FUAM offers you admission
- Login to your JAMB CAPS account to accept or reject the admission. However, you must have uploaded your O’level result on the caps. If you haven’t, see how to upload O’level on CAPS.
- Thereafter, you must visit http://fees.uam.edu.ng/ to Pay your Acceptance Fee. Follow the steps to proceed to make payments online or in the bank. Print the Invoice or copy the RRR and visit any bank near you and request to make payment for the University of Agriculture Makurdi acceptance fee using Remita.

Make sure you keep visiting the official website or the JAMB portal until the admission process is over since the Federal University of Agriculture, Makurdi releases its admission lists in batches.
