FUTA Post UTME 2019: Registration, Cutoff Mark & How to Check Result

Find out how you can easily register for FUTA Post UTME 2019 on the official portal. Also discover how to check the Result and cut off mark for admission.

FUTA is one of the most respected federal Universities of Technology in Nigeria. Similar to many other universities in Nigeria, the institution organises Post UTME examinations for applicants every year.

However, to qualify to enroll and sit for the exam you must meet up with certain requirements.

FUTA Post UTME 2019 registration portal & requirements (how to register)

FUTA post-UTME registration & login screen

The official post UTME registration portal for FUTA is https://www.futa.edu.ng/putme/welcome/putmeappindex. We advise you visit this portal using a computer.

However, to be qualified for registration you must have scored a Minimum of 180 in your JAMB UTME result. Furthermore, you must have selected FUTA as your first choice federal university.

How to register:

  • Visit any bank in Nigeria that is on eTranzact and notify them of your intention to pay for FUTA post UTME registration fees. The fee is currently set at 2,000 naira only (additional bank charges may apply).
  • On the bank deposit teller, you must indicate the following details:
    • UTME Registration Number
    • Full Name (as it appears on your JAMB registration slip)
    • Course
    • School
  • Instead of account number, you’ll indicate either FUTA Post-UTME Screening (For UTME Candidates) or FUTA Post-UTME Screening (For DE Candidates)
  • Visit Federal University of Technology, Akure official website using https://www.futa.edu.ng/putme/welcome/putmeappindex.
  • Click on “confirm payment”
  • Enter your UTME number and confirmation order to confirm payment.
  • After successfully confirming your payment, login using your UTME Number.
  • Upload your passport-sized photograph and fill-in the all the necessary forms to complete your registration.

Your examination date will be communicated to you on the exam card.

Requirements for participating in the Post UTME:

  • Depositor’s copy of Bank Teller indicating payment for post-UTME
  • JAMB UTME Notification of Results/Registration slips;
  • Printed copy of the completed Post-UTME Online Registration Form
  • Print-out of eTranzact payment receipt (you can get this from the bank where you made payments)
  • One passport photograph.

In addition, candidates must not go along to the exam venue with the following: cell phones, I Pad, Walkman, wrist watches or any other electronic gadget and extraneous materials.

How to check FUTA Post UTME Result

Candidates who sat for the exams can check their results by following the steps below:

  1. First of all, visit the official FUTA Post-UTME result checking portal using https://www.futa.edu.ng/putme/welcome/putmeappindex .
  2. Enter your UTME number and click on “Submit”.
  3. In your dashboard click on check “Post UTME Result”.

You result will display after completing the steps above, after which you can decide to print it.

Cut off mark

The Post UTME cut off mark vary every year, depending on the department you applied to and the performance of candidates for that year.

In general, the institution will decide your admission using the aggregate score obtained from adding UTME and Post UTME results.
