Popular actor Max von Sydow has died at the age of 90. The veteran featured in over 100 films, including Game of Thrones, Star Wars & The Exorcist.

His family announced “with heartbreak” news of his passing which apparently took place on Sunday.

His illustrious career saw him earn two Oscar nominations for Pelle the Conqueror (1988) and Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close (2011).

Max von Sydow was The Three-Eyed Raven who handed over Bran Stark.

In Game of Thrones, Max von Sydow played the role of Three-Eyed Raven.
