As the cases of the novel coronavirus in Nigeria keeps increasing on a daily basis Nigeria keeps putting in measures to curb the spread of the virus.
One of such measures is the president, Muhammadu Buhari ordering a lockdown in Ogun, Lagos and Abuja.
Since the start of the movement restriction, prominent Nigerians have been asking the government to provide relief funds for Nigerians.
You will recall that Naijahomebased told you that former President Atiku Abubakar had asked for a relief fund for Nigerians while pledging ₦50 million.
Another popular Nigerian that has beckoned on the government to provide relief fund for Nigers is Nollywood actor, Yul Edoche.
This is coming after the lockdown on Lagos, Ogun and Abuja and directed by the president of the federation.
The actor took to his Twitter handle to make this appeal he said,”
Dear President
@MBuhari
Pls provide an economic relief package for Nigerians, even if it’s 50k each, it will go a long way. People are hungry, locked down with no money, begging left, right & centre. With the (a) situation like this, it’ll be difficult to keep people at home. Yul wrote:
