A hilarious video shows what appears to be a Redeemed Christian Church of God pastor banishing the ‘Marlian spirit’.
Azeez Fashola, popular known as Naira Marley, is a Nigerian singer and songwriter. His large base of fans all over Nigeria and beyond fondly refer to themselves as “Marlians”.
A video making rounds on social media shows an unidentified RCCG pastor banishing what he called ‘the spirit of Marlian’.
He said, “I banish the spirit of Marlian in your children; in your grandchildren lives in the name of Jesus Christ.
“My children will graduate and they will do well; my children’s children will graduate and they will do well,” he added.
According to most people’s perceptions, Marlians don’t wear belts, don’t complete their degrees and are usually seen with dreads.
So, i’m sure you understand why the church members, mostly women, were shouting loud ‘amens’ 🙂
