After hitting out at Timaya, claiming he was richer. Timaya in return dragged him and dared him to come back to Nigeria.

At some point, Hushpuppi took to Instagram to share a post addressing his various critics and friends, while also giving us a clue as to what his childhood looked like.

“I’m specially taking today out to appreciate every one of you great people out there that have met me in person from all over the world in the places I have been and showed me massive love over this internet fake hatred.

A lot of you took the courage to say hi to me, take pictures with me and offered me drinks or take my bills and so many more in different locations all over the world.

“Believe me, a lot of you told me you like what I do, you like how I brought myself and my family from nothing to something, how I believe in myself and how I changed the game and taught ni**as how not to be lame a**es when they get that money, taught them to take trips, wear on some good clothes not just drink champagne, smoke weed n gossip and at the same time some of y’all gave me advice to be careful and all that.

“I want you all to know I put every word you say to me into consideration and I never forget them and I really appreciate y’all who’s been supporting me through good n trouble times that I haven’t had the chance to meet and I promise you all it would be a wonderful experience when we cross path, never feel shy to say hi if you see me around”.

Hushpuppi Arrest

Dubai police arrested Hushpuppi in his Dubai home for alleged involvement in fraud, in an operation tagged Fox Hunt 2. They revealed they had surveillance on him for several months, without him knowing about it.

The Commissioner for police INTERPOL, Garba Umar, confirmed the arrest, according to the Nation. Garba also stated that they were working on extraditing him to Nigeria to face justice and be used in fishing out his accomplices.

However, the American authority tussled with the Nigeria government and won custody of Hushpuppi, since they believe he took part in an unemployment fraud that cost the US government ‘hundreds of millions’ of dollars.

Since then, he has now been handed over to the American government as reported by the country’s justice department.

Hushpuppi and his accomplices faces multiple charges of fraud involving money laundering, business email compromise, hacking, among others. If found guilty, he could spend a maximum of 20 years in jail.

In the last post he shared on his page before his arrest, he showed off his new Rolls Royce Cullinan 2020, which is worth above N150 million.

While thanking God for the blessings in his life, he prayed that shame be the portion of those waiting for him to be shamed.

Since then, his account has been quiet. He hasn’t shared any post on his Instastory, suggesting he doesn’t have access to social media.
