• General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God has revealed that the journey to normalcy has started.
• In his message n Sunday, Adeboye advised all members to stay at home and halt any journey abroad after the lockdown is lifted.

Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, the GO of the RCCG, has declared that Nigeria will survive the scare of Covid-19 before ither high-risk countries in the world.

The Cleric gave the gracious message via his broadcast to church members on Sunday, April 19, available on Twitter.

Apparently, his message brought hope amid the ever-increasing cases of the deadly pandemic in the country.

The GO went on to declare that the “journey to normalcy has started.”

According to the pastor, Nigeria and Africa will recover from the deadly disease before the rest of the world.

He said, “I believe that I have good news for us. I believe that the journey to normalcy has started.

“I am believing God that your pastors will soon return to their normal duties probably at most, I will spend one more Sunday with you after which the pastors will be back to their duties in Jesus name.

“The return journey to normalcy might not be very rapid or sudden. It might be gradual but it will be steady.

“I sincerely hope that when the battle is over, we will give all the glory to God.

Furthermore, Adeboye instructed all members to stay at home and postpone any journey abroad after the lockdown is relaxed.

“After the lockdown has been lifted, any journey abroad that is not essential, please suspend it, ” he said.

“God is going to grant Nigeria and Africa healing before the rest of the world so stop jumping up and down. If the journey is not essential, don’t go.

Adeboye also emphasized on the need to observe personal hygiene during the critical period and drawing close to God.

The GO went on to note that God is using the plague to demonstrate to the world that he is in control while asserting that the virus will not go away but will only be subdued.
