The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has commenced recruitment for 2020. Jobs are available for various positions across all local government areas (LGAs). However, there are several requirements and only qualified persons will be considered.
According to the Electoral board recruitment portal, the available positions include registration area officers (RAOs) on grade levels 07 and 08 as well as skilled professionals on grade levels 09-14.
What are the requirements?
Based on the information provided by INEC, all applicants must be Nigerian citizens, they must present a certificate of state of origin signed by the chairman/secretary of his/her local government.
Meanwhile, a certificate of endorsement by liaison officers is not acceptable.
Candidates who are computer literates stand a greater chance of being considered for an appointment.
Also, applicants must provide a certificate of mental and physical fitness issued by a government medical officer.
In addition, candidates must not be older than 35 years of age for the entry point and 45 years of age for the experienced hire.
