Kenneth is a decent of Ihiala in the southeastern part of Nigeria in Anambra state. He is the first child out of three children of his parents.

Kenneth was once a model before he became an actor.
In 2006, Kenneth actually escorted a friend to an audition for models and never had any intentions of participating in the auditioning process.
However, he was compelled to audition by those supervising the audition of which he decided to give it a try and auditioned.
Luckily, he was selected in the audition.
Later, in 2010, debuting his modelling career, he participated in the Mr Nigeria male pageant and won.
He also went further to contest Mister World pageant and emerged as the second runner in the pageantry.
Kenneth started his acting career in 2011.
Kenneth who never thought of becoming an actor described his venture into the Nigerian movie industry as a coincidence as he never intended to be an actor.

On December 21 2012 at 10:30pm, Okolie and Nkiru Sylvanus were released and regained freedom.
