Abductors of Oyo Islamic cleric twins have finaly released the children. The excited Sheikh Toofeeq Akeugagold took to Facebook to announce the release of hi hildren.
“ALHAMDULILLAH! AT 5.30AM OF SUNDAY 3RD MAY, MY ABDUCTED TWIN KIDS ARE RELEASED TO ME BESIDE A BUSH AFTER 8DAYS IN AN UNKNOWN LAND. THANKS TO U ALL FOR FOR YOUR PRAYERS AND SUPPORT, JAZAKUMULLAHU KHAIRAN. ABERE MI BO SINU OKUN, OLOUN YO PADA FUN MI,” Sheikh Taofeeq Akeugbagold wrote.
NaijaHomeBased earlier reported that they demanded a ransom of 48.6 million naira. It is not clear how much they had to pay before they were released.
