Lagos discharges five more patients total No. of discharged patients now 29

The Lagos State Government announced that they have discharged five patients receiving treatment at the Infectious Disease Hospital, Yaba on Sunday.

This brings the total number of discharged patients in Lagos state to 29.

Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, took to his Twitter handle @jidesanwolu to disclose this.

He tweeted: ” Today, I am happy to inform you that five more patients comprising two males and three females including a 10-year-old girl have tested negative twice to #COVID-19.

In addition to that, the governor advised against the stigmatization of the discharged patients. He also noted that they need support to get over the experience.

He went on to thank the health workers, for the services they have been rendering this period.
