Many people have been astounded by Laycon‘s good start in the big brother Naija lockdown house. Yet, not many of them knew him before he got into the house. Right now, he is, without a doubt, one of the hot favorites to emerge victoriously.

Olamilekan Agbeleshe, better known as Laycon, is a Nigerian singer, rapper, and songwriter. He is the 19th person to be unveiled as a housemate in the BBNaija 2020 season.

Not long he got into the lockdown house did he start entertaining other housemates with his vibes and lyrical flows.

Apparently, many people underrated him because of his looks, but it is now clear that he must not be overlooked.

Particularly, his intelligence has acquired plaudits from popular online personalities, including Big Brother Africa season five winner Uti Nwanchukwu.

“Usually in the first week of #Bbnaija a certain kind of grace follows a particular Housemate,” Uti Nwachukwu wrote on Twitter.

“The masses inexplicably like, have empathy/sympathy for and unshakably start the support/ ‘stanning’ of that Housemate leading to their eventual VICTORY.

“This year, that housemate is LAYCON,” Uti added.

Other celebrities like Skiibii, Reminisce, Dotun, and many others have previously showed support for the rapper, who can be tagged “Small but mighty.”

OAP Dotun had earlier written saying he looked like someone who went to the Big Brother House to sell SK.

“This Laycon looks like he came to sell “SK” inside the Big Brother house. I like him sha,” she wrote.

Even several other funny memes had earlier emerged on Twitter, making fun of him for being quiet or not blending well. But that hat since changed.

So, why has Laycon been making so much headlines.

One reason may include a now viral report claiming he was the best graduating art student of the University of Lagos 2016 set.

The 26-year-old singer and rapper hails from Lagos State Nigeria. He was born on the 8th of November 1994. He’s a graduate of philosophy from the University of Lagos.

In the event that he emerges victorious, Laycon says he hopes to invest the price money on his musical career.
