An unlucky driver has crashed a brand new Lamborghini worth £200,000 (roughly N100 million) just moments after picking it up from the showroom.
According to The Sun, the brand new Lamborghini Huracan Spyder was smashed up on the motorway 20 minutes after the new owner received the car keys.
The grey two-seater had stopped due to mechanical failure, leading to another driver plowing into it from behind.
West Yorkshire Police tweeted: “It’s only a car!
“But on this occasion a 20 minute old brand new Lamborghini that stopped due to mechanical failure in lane 3.
“Hit from behind by an innocent motorist #couldhavecried.”
According to a police spokesperson, the driver of the van that collided with the Lambo was left with minor head injuries.
