Nigerian singer, D’Banj, has narrated how difficult it has been and still is to cope with the loss of his son nearly 2 years ago. According to him, the memories are still fresh.

The singer lost his 1-year-old son, Daniel, in a drowning incident that took place in June 2018.

According to him, he slept in the room for the first time in 21 months, but the memories are still so fresh.

“For the first time in 21 months, I slept in my room,” D’Banj wrote. “I thought it would be easier but the memories are so fresh.

He believes his story can be a source of hope to people going through a hard time or facing a tough time coping with pain caused by this pandemic.

“And although my family and I have been through so much in this time, I woke up this morning with a grateful heart knowing that I can be a source of a visible hope to anyone going through a hard time due to this pandemic or any other personal issue.

“Just know that tomorrow will be better and you can turn your pain into motivation,” he added.
