NBA legend, Kobe Bryant, died on Sunday the 26th of January, 2020 in a helicopter crash that happened in suburban Los Angeles as reported by celebrity website TMZ (Thirty Mile Zone).
Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Officials confirmed the crash and declared that there were no survivors as 8 other people also died from the crash.
The news of the death of the star was first reported by TMZ and was later confirmed by ESPN.
His daughter, Gianna whom he fondly called ‘Gigi’, was also on board the ill-fated chopper.
Kobe Bryant is survived by his wife, Vanessa, and three other daughters Natalia, Bianca and Capri.
The former Los Angeles Lakers star commended LeBron James a few hours earlier for unseating him to third place on the all-time scoring chart.

In a tragic turn of event, that was the last post he ever shared on the popular social platform.
The NBA champion Began his career in 1996 and retired in 2016. In his 24 years career, he was a five-time NBA champion and was also a two-time Olympic gold medalist.
He was pivotal to the US squad of NBA stars at Beijing in 2008 and at London in 2012.
