Nigeria has recorded 248 new cases of coronavirus. This brings the total number of recorded cases in the country to 4399.
Of the 4399 cases, 778 treated patients have been discharged while 143 deaths have been recorded.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) took to it’s official Twitter account to make this announcement.
It tweeted, ” 248 new cases of COVID-19. Then it went on to give a break down of the number of cases recorded in each affected state across the country.
81-Lagos, 35-Jigawa, 26-Borno, 26-Kano, 20-Bauchi, 13-FCT, 12-Edo, 10-Sokoto, 7-Zamfara, 4-Kwara, 4-Kebbi, 2-Gombe, 2-Taraba, 2-Ogun, 2-Ekiti, 1-Osun, 1-Bayelsa.
Furthermore, the health agency rectified an error which it made in its report on the 9th of May.
