Nigerians remember Ambode as APC Disqualifies Obaseki from Primaries

Several Nigerians have been remembering former governor of Lagos State following the disqualification of Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki, from APC primary elections.

Recall that NaijaHomeBased reported that Godwin Obaseki was disqualified from participating in the party primaries for the next governorship elections following a feud with the Party Chairman, Adams Oshiomhole.

Consequently, former Lagos State governor, Akinwunmi Ambode, has been trending on Twitter.

Clearly, that move didn’t go down with Obaseki and several Nigerians. Obaseki’s Special Adviser on Media and Communication Strategy, Crusoe Osagie, had earlier reacted to the development by claiming that Oshiohole has reduced the APC to an open show of shame.

However, Obaseki went on to state that he wouldn’t appeal the decision because he would never get justice.

Meanwhile, several Nigerians have been reacting to the latest development.

From what it seems, people have managed to link the latest development to what happened during Ambode’s tenure in Lagos.
