A video making rounds on the internet shows the moment controversial Enugu-based Prophet Chukwuemeka Odumeje sprayed money on the floor and several grownups rushed to pick.

Currently, the country battling a potential spread of covid-19. As such, his decision to spray money on the floor for people to pick has not gone down well with several Nigerians.

From the scenes in the video, the incident took place at Polo Park Mall.

“So ODUMEJE went to polo park mall and was spraying money in the Air… when the world is practising social distance for a Pandemic… I just see illiteracy everywhere. If na your Pastor, please educate him,” Ohis wrote.

Natasha Northside said “This Odumeje guy, lol something about him is weirdly off. Heard he was spraying money again in the midst of a Pandemic, creating ruckus. I hope he doesn’t make the news one day and they discover a skeleton in his cupboard. Literally.

“Deboye added, “What is actually wrong with Nigerians, What?! Pastor Odumeje in a critical period the world is trying to maintain some social distancing and cautions is seen spraying money at the Polo Mall in Enugu, a state there has been a confirmed COVID-19 case.

“Shoppers set aside Social distancing control, falling over themselves as prophet Odumeje makes it rain at a mall in Enugu,” Postsubman said.

Bimbo Alanko, on the other hand, called for the arrest of the controversial prophet.
