Police arrest Bobrisky over alleged N30 million fraud

Popular Nigerian crossdresser, Idris Okuneye, AKA Bobrisky, was arrested by police officers from Abuja over a N30 million deal he entered.

Bobrisky arrested in connection to an alleged N30m fraud.

In a video the made rounds earlier, the crossdresser was seen with police officers before they all drove to the station.

Bobrisky was arrested around Lekki by a team of policemen from Abuja for allegedly receiving N30million from a female client without meeting his own end of the deal.

According to The Nation, the arrest was confirmed by police spokesperson Frank Mba.

“Yes, Bobrisky was arrested in the early hours of today following a petition by a Nigerian woman that the crossdresser collected N30m from her for sales but did not keep to the end of the deal,” Frank Mba said. 

The police spokesperson also revealed that Bobrisky was subsequently granted bail but the case is still an active one, as the matter is still under investigation.
