A policeman has been arrested after opening fire on his colleagues at Onikan, Lagos State.
According to reports, some of his colleagues have died from his gun shots.
The Police Inspector identified as Monday Gabriel was arrested on Sunday morning and tied with ropes by policemen from Ilaje Police Station in Bariga, Lagos.
He went wild around 5 am after he had a disagreement with other members of his team.
His shot killed the leader of police team, Sergeant Felix Okago, at Onikan in Lagos Island.
Reports have it that the ‘killer cop’ is attached to the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS).
After unleashing mayhem on his colleagues, he seized their operational vehicle and drove straight to Akoka in Yaba.
There he attempted to force his way into a building, according to reports.
He was also heard claiming that some persons wanted to pollute him.
“My spirit reject pollution in the name of Jesus Christ.
“Instead of polluting my spirit, take me home in the name of Jesus Christ. Take me home in the name of Jesus Christ, ” the police officer said after he was captured.
