Recall that NaijaHomeBased earlier reported that the ex-beauty queen died in her hotel room in Port Harcourt in the early hours of Sunday.

Both the president of Nigeria and the governor of Edo state have now commiserated with the General Overseer of Trinity House (Church), Lagos, Pastor Ituah Ighodalo, on the death of his wife.

Buhari’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, who shared the president’s speech revealed that the popular pastor sent President Buhari a condolence letter following the death of Abba Kyari.

“Please, accept my condolences. May God give you the fortitude to bear the loss, and strengthen you in this trying time,” the President said.

Also, the governor of Edo State, Godwin Obaseki, in a condolence message to the cleric, said, “As close friends, our grief is hard to describe in words.

“Ibidunni was one of the finest among us; she was full of life and gave herself to causes that edified life and living,” he wrote in a tweet.

“In her personal capacity and through the Ibidunni Ighodalo Foundation, she impacted society, helping to bring joy and happiness to peoples’ lives,” he added.

A prominent member of the Bring Back Our Girls’ campaign team, Oby Ezekwesili, and indeed Nigerians, have also reacted to the death of the mother of two.
