Are you interested in knowing the requirements for participating in the Presidential Youth Empowerment Scheme, popularly known as PYES? If your answer is yes, then this guide is for you.

The scheme is as a matter of fact an incubation Programme targeted at empowering youths with Seed Empowerment Tools (SET). And, the ultimate goal of PYES is to create multiple layers of empowerment. In other words, people will be empowered to in return empower others.

The programme, which is powered by the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, and coordinated by the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Youth and Students Affairs, will Empower a total of 774,000 successful applicants. Furthermore, it is scheduled to last for a minimum of 2 years.

But do you think you meet up with the requirements for PYES? You’ll soon find out.

If you’re uneducated, and you’re scared the programme may not be for, I have good news for you: PYES is accessible to the literate, semi-literate and the non-literate population. In other words, whether you’re educated or not you can apply.
