Biography
Ramsey was born in Edo State to an Israeli father, Ramsey Nouah Snr and his mother, Margaret, a Yoruba woman, who hails from Owo in Ondo State.
The Nigerian-Israeli was raised by his mother in Surulere, Lagos State.
Early life and education
As mentioned earlier, he was raised in Surulere, Lagos. He attended Atara Primary School and Community Grammar School there in Lagos state.
He also attended the University of Lagos, where he obtained a diploma in Mass Communications after which he began a career in acting.

Career
The Lover-boy, as he is usually called for his numerous roles in romantic films, started his acting career when he starred in the Nigerian TV soap opera, ‘Fortunes’.
Since then, he has starred in over 100 movies.
During an interesting chat with Pulse Nigeria while publicizing his movie “Crazy People,” the actor talked on how Hollywood has influenced his career.
He said, “I remember we were watching them while we were growing up, so it was a learning curve for me.
“I learnt from all the action heroes back in the days: Sylvester Stallone, Arnold Schwarzenegger and other actors back in the days.
“I used to love their work, there was just something about it. And that was my drive when I was growing up.
Furthermore, he said, “And we [Nollywood] did movies then [and] I was hoping that we would get better because our movies, technically, didn’t come anywhere close.
“And yes, they [Hollywood] have helped me a lot. Looking at their movies, you really want to get as good as they are. Not just acting, but production quality,” He added
He also talked about featuring in movies he is not proud of. However, he did not mention names of the movies.
According to him, It will hurt the producers if he did, so he ended up not mentioning any name in the end.
In 2015, he got the rights for his movies “Living in Bondage: Breaking Free” from Kenneth Nnebue for the movies to be filmed in Europe, America and Nigeria.
In 2018, Ramsey Nouah announced the movie, ‘Living in Bondage: Breaking Free‘, is scheduled for release on 8th of November 2019.
Nouah, who plays the new cult chief priest, makes his directorial debut, with the likes of veteran actors Kenneth Okonkwo, Kanayo O Kanayo and Udokwu.
The movie centres on a man, Nnamdi, and his quest for wealth. MBGN winner and Rapper Muna Abii. Nancy Isime also stars in the sequel.
