First Bank Nigeria launched the use of USSD code to make certain transactions easy. Loading of credit on your phone happens to be one of such transactions.

Right now, you don’t need to visit an ATM machine to recharge your phone neither do you need a mobile banking app.

In other words, even without internet connection you can recharge your lines.

Not just on your line. Using First Bank Quick Banking code, you can recharge airtime on the lines of your family and friends.

But to be able to use FirstBank Quick Banking, you must have a phone number linked with your account number and you must have access to that phone number.

To get started with this guide you need to activate Quick Baking.

Dial *894*0# using the mobile number linked with your First Bank account, select your debit card, enter the 4-digit PIN associated with that card, and choose a 5-digit PIN for the quick banking service.

Here’s how to recharge from First Bank:

  • If you intend to recharge airtime for yourself, just dial *894*Amount#. That is, if you intend to recharge 500 naira, then dial *894*500#
  • Confirm your transactions when the network prompts you to do so.
  • Or if you’re interested in recharging airtime for a friend or family, then dial *894*amount*phone number#.
  • That is, if you intended to recharge 500 for a friend whose phone number is 08012345678, then you need to dial *894*500*08012345678.
Buy airtime from your First Bank account

First bank quick banking recharge code works regardless of mobile network. In other words, whether you’re using MTN, Glo, Airtel or 9mobile, you can make use of the quick banking recharge code any time, any day.

If you misplaced your phone number, then you need to visit any FBN branch near you.
