Published on

Is your DStv not working after you made payment? You have nothing to worry about because in this guide we’ll show you how to reset your DStv smartcard after renewing your subscription.

One of our fans recently sent us a message saying “I renewed my subscription yet DStv is only showing me channel 100 (dish).”

DStv is without doubt the leading cable TV provider in Nigeria and several African countries. However, being the leader in the game doesn’t gurantee zero errors.

From time-to-time customers face certain errors displayed on their screens. And as the case may be, the most popular error among subscribers of this giant satelite TV provider is that payment confirmation propagates slowly.

But sincerly, payment information now propagates a lot faster compared to years back.

There are several ocassions whereby it didn’t take up to one minute after I renewed my subscription before all the stations started working.

On the other hands, there are moments when I waited for nearly one hour before my stations began to work.

Nowadays, whenever I notice a delay all I do is reset my account using several simple methods.
