Tiyamiyu Fasasi, the father of the late Remo Stars player, Tiyamiyu Kazeem, who lost his life after some SARS operatives arrested him, has made a damning revelation.
He had an exclusive interview with The Punch, during which he gave some insights into the person his child was.
According to Tiyamiyu, Kazeem was his second son, and his life was all about football, nothing else.
Whenever he wasn’t playing football, he’d be watching football, trying to learn from other players who played the same position as him.
During the interview, he revealed that his son was never involved in cultism and had no criminal record. As such, those SARS operatives had no reason to apprehend him. Moreover, he identified himself as a footballer with Remo Stars.
Tiyamiyu also accused those SARS operatives of killing his son and demanded justice for his “slain” son.
“I want justice to be done. All I want is justice for my slain son,” Tiyamiyu Fasasi said.
When the interviewer asked him to prescribe a punishment for the SARS officers, he said: “My recommendation is that they should be killed because they committed murder against my son. They did not find anything to prove that he was a criminal before he was killed. They too should be killed because they cut short the life of my child.
“I want justice for my son. I don’t just want them to remand or dismiss those involved in his death, I want them to be killed. They should also face the same judgment they gave to my child. If the government does not ensure those culprits are brought to book, there may be problems,” he added.
