Stephanie Okereke-Linus biography

Stephanie Onyekachi Okereke-Linus popularly known as Stephanie Okereke was born in Ngor Okpala, Imo State, Nigeria, into the family of Mr/Mrs. Chima Okereke. she is the sixth of eight children.

Early Life and education

She had both her primary and secondary education in Delta State, after which she proceeded to the University of Calabar, Cross River State, where she studied English and literary art.

She also attended the New York Film Academy and graduated in 2007.

Age: How old is Stephanie Okereke?

The gorgeous actress has lived well above three decades as she is in her late 30s. She was born on the 2nd of October 1982, which simply means she is currently aged 37.

The Journey Through Her Career

Stephanie started acting at an early age, although not as early as her movie counterpart, Genevieve Nnaji, who started acting at just 8.

Meanwhile, in 1997, when she was just 15, she featured in two Nollywood movies titled ” Compromise 2 and Waterloo“.

In 2002, she participated in the most beautiful girl in Nigeria beauty pageant, a contest in which she came second.

A year later, Mrs. Linus featured in a movie which got her two awards out of eight nominations, an impressive feat right?

In addition to being a dexterous actress, she has proven herself to be a good producer, director, and scriptwriter.

She showed all these qualities in her movie titled “Through the glass“, a movie which she released in 2007, after graduating from the New York film academy.

Having done well in the first movie in 2007, in 2014, she came back stronger and better with another movie titled “Dry”.

“Dry” earned her many awards and also got her a brand new car. Through these career years, Stephanie has featured in well over 85 movies.
