Nigerian sensational Singer, Divine Ikubor, popularly known by his stage name, Rema, has addressed his fans about their usual manner of comparing him with top artists.
Most fans are fond of comparing and placing their favourite artists above other artists.
In any case, the “Dumebi” crooner has taken to his Twitter account to appeal to his his fans to atop comparing him with older artists.
According to him, for them to grow, they need support and unity to grow and not comparison.
Rema tweeted, “My win is YOUR win, Afrobeat is a movement & we need all the support we can get. The comparisons between me & my heroes are unnecessary, let’s stop bringing down our own.
“Let’s celebrate where Afrobeat is at today and focus on where it will be tomorrow, God bless you all, ” he added.
