Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Femi Falana, has hit out at the governor of Kano for the embarrassing manner in which he handled the dethronement of Sanusi Lamido Sanusi II.

According to him, the dethronement of Emir of Kano, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi is illegal because the Governor of Kano State cannot be the Accuser, Judge, Defendant and Persecutor at the same time.

He also stated that a person cannot be punished for an offence that is not defined by law.

Meanwhile, the popular SAN also stated that it is only in the military that insubordination is considered a crime.

In other news, Governor El-Rufai has given Sanusi Lamido Sanusi a new appointment in Kaduna State.
