Tonto Dikeh was born in Port Harcourt, Rivers State. She is a native of Obio akpor Local Government Area and is of Ikwerre descent.

Her Father’s name is Sunny Dikeh while her mother’s name was Veronica Dikeh. Unfortunately, the movie star lost her mother when she was just 3 years old. As a result, her father remarried thereby providing a stepmother for the young Tonto.

Tonto Dikeh’s siblings

She is the third of 5 children who share maternal and paternal DNA. That is, she has 4 siblings. Additionally, she has 2 other step-siblings (the same father but different mothers). This is as a result of the death of her mother, which led to her father remarrying.

In 2014, during world siblings’ day, Tonto Dikeh shared a message on her twitter handle claiming she is her own family and that none of her 6 siblings is what addressing as so.

This came after Tonto had claimed she was very poor while growing up, and therefore had to work to send herself to school, and in response to those claims, one of her sister Tumshee (who goes by the name Dat Cute Orobo on twitter), branded Tonto a liar.

In a series of tweets, Tumshee claimed that they grew up in a comfortable home and that their father could die for them while they were growing up.

From all indications, the celebrity suffers a strained relationship with her siblings.

The movie star married Olakunle Churchhill in 2015; however, their union did not last for too long as they divorced in 2017.

Their divorce is one of the most publicized breakups in Nigeria. Every now and then, Tonto uses her social accounts to throw jabs at Olakunle.

A lot of rumours are linking the actress to Nigerian singer, FreshDollar, who is known for his single ‘Gbedu’.

Moreover, their activities have helped add fire to the rumour. They refer to each other as “my love” on social platforms.
