A video making wave on the internet captured moment Governor Bello Mohammed Matawalle of Zamfara state forced the Principal and Teachers of a school to eat the food prepared for their students.

The Governor paid an unexpected visit to the school, Government Science Secondary School and Government Girls’ Secondary School Gusau.

The governor who was displeased with the substandard food they serve students despite the huge amount the government spends for the program.

The angry Governor also stated that “henceforth, the principals and the feeding officers throughout the state must eat the same food they cook for their students or be dismissed”.

Moreover, Governor Matawalle affirmed that this would apply to all the government boarding schools across the state.
