Senator Shehu Sani was the former senator who represented Kaduna Central at the 8th National Assembly
He jokingly referred to Professor Wole Soyinka, Nigeria’s Nobel Laureate, as “the patron of the criminal’s club”.
They both met at the Federal High Court in Abuja as they were both present at Sowore’s trial.
Sowore is the co-convener of #RevolutionNow movement; and he was as a result of that movement, charged for treason by the federal government
Senator Sank entered the court to meet an already seated Sole Soyinka
The Professor on seeing him, jokingly called him another criminal like Sowore.
The Prof said, “aha here comes another Criminal like Sowore.”
In response, Senator Sank referred to him thus: ” sir you are the patron of the Criminals club.”
Later on, Senator Sank took to his twitter handle to share this:
