Watford End Liverpool’s Unbeaten Run with 3-0 Drubbing

An unbeaten run that looked in the horizon for Liverpool FC has now ended after Watford subjected them to a shocking 3-0 loss.

Prior to today’s drubbing, the Merseyside Reds established themselves as a formidable force in the Premier League; they were practically every club’s nightmare.

The League Leaders were everyone’s favourite against a lowly Watford who sat at 19th prior to tonight’s fixture. However, the hosts had other plans for their visitors from Merseyside.

Sarr broke the deadlock after 54 minutes and, thereafter, raced through to double the Hornets’ lead six minutes after his first.

Watford captain Troy Deeney increased the scoreline after taking advantage of yet another poor defending from the Reds with 18 minutes left to play.

Recall that Liverpool lost by a lone goal to Atletico Madrid in the Champions League. As such, this loss makes it second in a row.

The Reds will be hoping to bounce back when they face Chelsea on Tuesday at Stamford Bridge in an FA Cup tie.
